Screaming teens, drag queens, and throngs of dedicated fans poured into downtown San Francisco Sunday to see pop singer Britney Spears perform three songs from her new album "Femme Fatale" at a free concert.

Thousands of fans started lining up before dawn to get their first-come, first-serve seats inside Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

The concert was the first installment of "Good Morning America's" "Spring Concert Series" and is scheduled to air on the talk show Tuesday, coinciding with the release of Spears' album, "Femme Fatale".

"GMA" host Robin Roberts and weather anchor Sam Champion were on stage to introduce Spears and present her with a special framed proclamation from the city of San Francisco declaring March 29 as "Britney Day" in the city.

With her blonde hair whipping around, Spears performed "Big Fat Bass," "Hold it Against Me," and "Till the World Ends" with a dozen shirtless or half-dressed backup dancers.

"Just wrapped "GMA," Spears said in a tweet on her Twitter page. "I love love love you San Francisco. Britney."
