Pour out a little liquor

Snoop Dogg and Warren G paid tribute to Nate Dogg, who died last Tuesday at 41, at SXSW over the weekend. Warren G -- who famously collaborated with Nate Dogg on "Regulate" admitted to MTV News that he was still reeling from his friend's death. "I honestly don't know how this is going to turn out," he said of the concert, which was to cap off the annual Respect the West party. DJs featured songs from Nate Dogg, including "Lay Low," "The Next Episode," and "21 Questions." Warren G, the Dogg Pound and surprise guest Snoop Dogg (who wrote a series of touching Tweets to his pal Nate Dogg, who died from stroke complications) took the stage wearing white T-shirts with a photo of Nate Dogg -- making the crowd go wild. They teamed up for "Ain't No Fun (If the Homies Can't Have None)," which featured Nate Dogg, and took turns on the versus. At the end, Warren G hugged Snoop Dogg and smiled, according to MTV. The final two songs were "Regulate" and "The Next Episode," which the DJ cut off before the song ended so the audience could sing Nate Dogg's famous last line, "Hey, hey, hey, hey/Smoke weed every day."
