MTV confirmed earlier this week that Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Jenni 'JWoww' Farley will star in their own spinoff series next year, charting the pair's exploits together after moving in on their own.
Speaking to MTV news Nicole stated: It's pretty much just the concept of me and Jenni being on our own without our roommates".
Details about the currently-untitled show are scarce. However, Farley claimed that the idea of the two best friends living together was not fabricated for the series, but rather something that they had planned for some time.
She further stated: "We legitimately just wanted to buy a house together and I wanted to move out of the home that everyone could see on TV."
Fellow Jersey Shore castmember Paul 'Pauly D' DelVecchio has also been handed his own spinoff series, which will follow him in his attempts at becoming a superstar DJ.
The two spinoff shows will consist of 12 episodes each, and will air sometime in 2012.
